I found another blog that I like!
I stopped blogging for a couple of months, mainly because I was getting bored with writing on things academic, life as a postgrad etc. I even got rid of the budding professor links, which left me with three ones to read all the time: Kiara, Christie and Livvy. It is entirely reciprocal too - I am still laughing at the tale of the crashingly boring pub jaunt. In my experience the only options are:
a) spike their drinks (glucose will do nicely but so will a placebo)
b) take your clothes off
c) crawl under the table for a little nap (but only if the floor is clean)
d) leave...
Hmmm...budding professors...Olivia could tell you a cautionary tale or 6 about those...smirks mysteriously...

Uh, yeah... that night at the pub was a prime "Eagle and Child moment". I never knew that life could be so much like a David Lodge novel.
As for reading Livvy's blog, for a start it has truly amazing writing and content. I'm pretty sure that all who venture into her spiritual lingerie drawers will find themselves irresistibly attracted to her universe over and over again.
